HAVANA GREY takes the National stakes (Listed) at Sandown leading from pillar to post under a positive ride from PJ McDonald. Havana Grey was sire Havana Gold's first stake winner and he did it in impressive style. He is a lovely straight forward colt who we have always liked and has stepped up and improved from each of his runs. He had a good draw at Sandown so we decided to send him forward and make his own running but we think he prefers a horse to aim at so we were delighted to see him stick on well up the Sandown hill. He looks set to head to Ascot now but no firm decision has been made to what race.

RAYDIANCE finished second on his first racecourse outing, the son of Mayson was another of ours to enjoy the rain softened ground and they drew clear of the rest of the field.

MUSIKEL ran a pleasing race on turf to finish third after winning his first start for us on the all weather at Newcastle.

UNFORTUNATLEY stamped his authority on the competition in the Hamilton maiden winning decisively by 3 lengths under Clifford Lee. He is a lovely straight forward colt who we have always liked.

MJJACK relished the rain which had turned the going at Doncaster soft and under Clifford Lee he won the seven furlong handicap.

SIMMIE purchased at the sales last winter by John Dance to eventually take her place in his breeding operation added to her black type by going down narrowly in the Listed fillies race at Newbury. She loved the soft ground and put up a great performance to finish second only beat a head.
