The super consistent mare TRIXIE MALONE may be blind in 1 eye...

The super consistent mare TRIXIE MALONE may be blind in one eye but
it really doesn't stop her from battling hard! She has won her first
three outings this year and then went on to be a close second at
Leicester under her usual rider Joey Haynes.
ISHIKAWA is becoming one of the yard favorites and is defiantly
apprentice jockey Robbie Fitzpatrick's as they teamed up again to win at
Sandown they make a good partnership and have gone from strength to
YOU'RE FIRED a new recruit made a winning start at Haydock, this
lovely looking son of Firebreak did amazingly well to win after getting
trapped in on the rail and then hampered only to get a clear run to
victory in the closing furlong, there looks to be much more to come from
BOLD PREDICTION has been unlucky not to have won his last three
races having being beat fractions his latest at Ripon having made all
the running only to be denied on the line.
WE'LL SHAKE HANDS
led from pillar to post at Carlisle under an inspiring ride by Danny
Tudhope to win for the first time this season, the second in his
NATURAL ORDER finished third in a very competitive Novice stakes,
the ground dried out which was against him but we were happy with his
performance and think there is more to come from him.
PHANTOM ran well in defeat in third place at Yarmouth ridden by Peter
Sword who was having his first ride for us and his first ride in two
years on a racetrack.
RITA'S BOY ran another solid race even after again...
Sat, May 24, 2014
RITA'S BOY ran another solid race even after again being slow away
from the stalls and then not handling the steep down hill run at
Hamilton in the first part of the race, he was detached from the rest of
the field but as soon as he hit the rising ground flew to make up many
lengths and pass most of his rivals to finish third. He is a winner
waiting to happen once he gets the hang of jumping quickly.
BOLD PREDICTION was again unlucky in the class 2 at Ripon under
Joey Haynes after being boxed in most of the way round he got out to
chase the winner home grinding him down with every stride to be denied
only by half a length.
CAPRIOR BERE having his debut at Redcar under Philip Makin ran a
solid race to finish second, the ground changed on the day to good to
firm which didn't suit him and after being very quick away from the
stalls was probably out in front long enough aswell.
MR MATTHEWS ran a blinder at Ascot under Ben Curtis...

MR MATTHEWS ran a blinder at Ascot under Ben Curtis, he got
slightly hampered coming out of the stalls and was always a little
further back than ideal but he ran on strongly to finish third in a
competitive race and we might now step him upto one mile.
ANGUS OG had his first attempt at six furlongs on rain softened
ground at Ripon and seemed to relish it as he stormed home under a well
judged ride by our apprentice Joey Haynes. ARAN SKY was unlucky not to
break his maiden as he got collared in the final strides by a fast
finisher having drawn seven lengths clear of the rest of the field.
There should be a win in him shortly.
BALTIC FIRE was another horse unlucky not to get his first win, he
has been placed many times through the winter and with the ground being
softer than ideal he did well to only be denied by a head.
finished third in the Group 2 at York behind two group one horses, she
ran on well to take third having had to switch twice in the final two
furlongs. Being a big scopey filly she ideally needs a strong pace and
kept in a nice rhythm to do her long stride justice.
We have had a fabulous run of luck these last ten days...
Tue, May 6, 2014
We have had a fabulous run of luck these last ten days after our
five timer we have carried on the winners with ISHIKAWA landing a nice
handicap at Ascot under a inspiring front running ride by our apprentice
Rob J Fitzpatrick followed on the same day with Dalmarella Dancer
winning very comfortably in the Maiden at Southwell, she is a lovely big
mare who has just needed a bit of time to develop and not rushing her
at two has proved successful with a second and a win under her belt this
RITA'S BOY also running at Southwell ran a cracking race but
unfortunately by fluffing the start and giving many lengths away he
could only manage to run on strongly to grab second, he showed a good
turn of foot and he shouldn't be too far away next time if he jumps the
NATURAL ORDER a lovely looking son of USA stallion Munnings did the
business at the first time of asking when even after being kept wide
battled on gamely to win the two year old maiden, he is a horse that
should appreciate a bit further in time with his dam having won over one
YEEOOW put up another tough performance to finish second at
Newmarket under Joey Haynes, he scooted to the front a furlong from home
to take the lead but as in alot of races at Newmarket they split into
two groups and the winner came up the stands rail, he is a horse who
likes to come late and always have something to aim at so not having the
pace his side didn't really suit but it was a highly competitive race
and we were very pleased with his performance.
TRIXIE MALONE is only a small filly with vision in just one eye but
she has a big heart and always digs deep to give her best, she won a
class three fillies handicap at Windsor making her record three from
three this year.
