We have enjoyed a great start to 2018

We have enjoyed a great start to 2018 with 5 winners so far in January! We also have three horses which have traveled out to Dubai for the racing carnival there it is very competitive but we hope they can put some good efforts starting on 18th jan when all three have there first run there.

It was great to see Kelly's Dino come back after a lengthy absence to win two races on the bounce under Ben Curtis he is a horse who has plenty of ability but has been plagued with injuries and set backs so the patience all involved had with him paid off.

Patience also paid off for owner Mark Bates who has always kept the faith in Angel Palanas who has been placed numerous times without getting his head infront finally won under yard apprentice Russell Harris taking to the deep Southwell surface he drew nicely clear winning nicely, he will go back there before heading to the Feb sale at Tatts.

Helen Sherbet won her second race again at Southwell under a strong ride from Ben Curtis he gets on well with the daughter of makfi.

Lord Oberon won on his first outing to a race track taking the maiden at Southwell he was a weak two year old that required some time and that paid off he should come on alot mentally for the run.

We have quite a few runners to keep us busy on the all weather and plenty of two year olds for the up and coming turf season.
